This 香 is very spectacular to watch burn.
It leaves two trails of smoke that trails into the sky at a slant and not straight up. It has a divine trail of smoke with a wonderful scent of wood. It really communicates to the soul.
The best!
I first tried Kyara Kongo a while ago, and fell in love its pleasing aloeswood aroma-it has become one of my top favorites. While ordering a new box of Kongo, I decided to try the Taikan.
Immediately I noticed that it’s much more potent than Kongo, but not overpowering. And there’s more of a depth to it. I’m not experienced enough yet to separate out all the notes, but it is a brilliant incense that has a wonderful calming and mind-clearing affect.
I expected it to be good, but I didn’t anticipate liking it as much as I am. I think this will be my new go-to for meditation.
I absolutely recommend at least trying a box of short sticks. If you like aloeswood, you won’t be disappointed!
Love the smell and quality of incense that Nippon offers. The Premium Aloeswood Incense is clean burning and smell does not spoil or linger. Would highly recommend
I can barely even smell the scent while this is burning. For the money, you can do much better. MAINICHI BYAKUDAN Is much much better for half the price. JINKOH SEIUN Is also a great choice for 1/3 of the price. Dodge this one, it is very weak and unimpressive for $100.00…😎
Kyara Taikan - Premium Aloeswood
The scent is refined, subtle yet profound, embodying the manifold blessings of nature. As the incense is lit, the ineffable fragrance of the highly prized Kyara rises, bringing you a moment of utmost fulfillment and relaxation.
The young Agarwood tree does not have any fragrance. As the tree ages, interaction with bacteria begins to produce an aromatic resin. With time, it ages to a very rich, dark resin with a distinctive and lovely fragrance. Kyara is regarded as the highest quality of Aloeswood. Kyara is used as a main ingredient in Kyara Taikan. As the incense is lit, a refined, subtle, and profound fragrance rises.
Enjoy a fulfilled moment and relax in the deep fragrance of Kyara.
Agarwood, also known as Aloeswood
Fragrance tone: Sweet, spicy, bitter, and sour; various scents depend on the tree's character.
Country of origin: Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Laos, etc.
Character of raw material: The young Agarwood tree does not have any fragrance. As the tree ages, interaction with bacteria begins to produce an aromatic resin. With time, it ages to a very rich, dark resin with a distinctive and lovely fragrance. Agarwood is a tree that does not float in water due to its density from the high percentage of resin. Because of this, in Japan, this scented wood is called "Jinkoh," which means "A fragrant and heavy wood which sinks."
Agarwood from Vietnam - and kyara - are hard to come by these days. We carefully scrutinize and rigorously select wood from the plentiful stock built up over the years in our warehouses via unique supply routes that we have forged, and use it unsparingly in our products.
2. Production environment
We do our utmost to prevent heat from harming the sublime aromas, and therefore do our production work only in winter - the one season considered suitable for it.
3. By the hands of skilled craftspeople
Top-level artisans who cut no corners take their time in painstakingly handcrafting the matured incense.
Sense and savor the nuances of aroma born of this delicate process of creation.
