I mainly use incense not for religious purposes but more of provide a relaxing ambiance to my home after a hard days of work or relaxing ambiance if I am expecting a guest. I like this Takasago sandalwood a little step up from Mainichi-Koh. The scent is more prominent and a bit more lingering even after burned compared to Mainichi-Koh. This still has somewhat a smoke but I say less smoke compared to Morning star brand. I like this sandalwood. I will alternate between this and Mainichi-Koh depending on my budget. I will buy this again.

Takasago sandalwood, in my opinion, is viva sandalwoods cooler, less in your face, less fake, more chill brother. Both are very nice scents but when you need a break from Viva sandalwood, Takasago is perfect for that.
