Lovely fragrance, similar to a clean-smelling men's cologne.

Was given the rain forest fragrance as a gift almost 20 years ago, been burning it since and the fragrance hasn’t changed.

Not rain

So I didn't get what we could call a forest rain type experience, don't get me wrong it is nice on it's own, maybe they should have used some high end pine tree sap to give it more of that mountain picture. But overall not bad.

rainforest, really?

not that i have been to a rainforest, but this was definitely not my scent image of one when i remember rainforest nature documentaries.
i couldn't pick up any "water or wet" scent in the mix, and it is a rainforest after all. (one excellent scent with what i would call a "wet" scent would be the "yume no yume - goldfish")

addendum: that being said, after several times i decided it was a uniquely "cleansing" scent and a "slightly complex" scent that i would buy again.
